Kent Developments had built its reputation over decades through precision, trust, and thoughtfully designed environments. But their digital presence told a different story. The website lacked the clarity, structure, and emotional resonance expected from a design-led developer operating at a regional and global level.

When I stepped in as a freelance web designer and developer, the gap was immediately clear. The brand was strong—but the experience was fragmented. Users were not guided; they were left to figure things out on their own. Key information about developments, philosophy, and ecosystem was present, but buried under inconsistent navigation and dense layouts.

The objective was to transform the website into a platform that reflects the company’s core values while supporting real business outcomes: engagement, trust, and conversion.

The Strategy

I approached the redesign as both a UX and business problem. Every design and development decision needed to improve how users perceive, navigate, and interact with the brand.

  1. Reframed Information Architecture: Simplified navigation into clear pathways—About, Collection, Approach, and Contact
  2. Content Hierarchy Optimization: Structured messaging to move from brand story → values → projects → action
  3. Visual System Upgrade: Introduced a refined, high-contrast palette with elegant typography and consistent spacing
  4. Component-Based Development: Built reusable UI elements for scalability and consistency across pages
  5. Conversion-Focused Interactions: Integrated clear CTAs like “Enquire” and WhatsApp entry points

The Experience Shift

The redesign introduced a more intentional flow. The homepage now establishes identity instantly, using strong headlines and immersive visuals to communicate credibility. Supporting sections—such as pillars, featured developments, and leadership—create a layered narrative that builds confidence as users scroll.

On deeper pages, clarity became the priority. The “Purpose, Vision & Mission” section was restructured into digestible cards. The ecosystem was simplified to show relationships between entities without overwhelming users. Even the contact experience was redesigned to reduce friction, guiding users with structured inputs and clear intent selection.

Confidence grows when information is simple, structured, and easy to act on.
